In addition to your daily exercise regimen, use every opportunity to be on the move. Park a distance from your workplace and walk the rest of the way. Take the stairs in lieu of the elevator. Park in the furthest space at the mall. Volunteer to walk the dog, take the children to the park, weed the garden – any activity that will keep you on the move to help with your weight-loss efforts.
